Rencontres Sabéennes XXIV

The annual meeting of Rencontres Sabéennes (RS) is dedicated to the epigraphy, history and archaeology of pre-Islamic South Arabia, The 24th RS is organized by The American Foundation (AFSM) and will be held this year at Amman International Hotel from May 24-26, 2022.

The topic of RS24 is Crossing Boundaries: Contacts between South and North Arabia.

In line with this, submissions dealing with aspects related to the history and archaeology  of pre-Islamic South and North Arabia and their neighboring civilizations are welcomed.

Submission of papers to foster the exploration of the topics from different perspectives (historical, epigraphic, archaeological, architectural, cultural heritage, etc.) as well as  presentations of the latest academic research and fieldwork projects that are currently underway are highly encouraged.
